Have you ever wondered how the heck other mom CEOs are getting it all done? Especially with a baby at home? When I survey my community, the #1 challenge they face is TIME, followed closely by FOCUS. I get it - and today, I'm pulling back the curtain on exactly how I run my multiple-six-figure business in just 2-3 hours a day.

Can you relate to feeling like there's never enough time? Like you're constantly choosing between business growth and being present with your kids?

Here's the truth: I scaled to $200K with five kids at home and a baby. No nanny, no perfect routine, just a business model intentionally built around my mom life. And today, I'm showing you exactly how.

In this episode, I'm sharing:

  • My exact daily schedule broken down hour by hour
  • The 4 key focuses that keep my business growing consistently
  • How I batch content creation to maximize limited time
  • Why I chose to keep my high-touch offers even with limited hours
  • The real reason I still do client work (it's not what you think!)
  • How I'm building passive income streams while maintaining personal connection

This episode is perfect for you if:

  • You're struggling to find enough time to grow your business
  • You feel torn between business growth and family time
  • You want to scale without sacrificing presence with your kids

My office suite is architected around my life. It is very customized for the life that I want. I want to be able to be bringing in more passive sales. That is why I'm building the backend funnels. And I'm building a funnel for my signature program. I can start getting more more leveraged sales in the door and more passive sales in the door with evergreen funnels. But I also really liked to stay doing client work. I love having my mastermind. I love getting on calls. My clients. I love reviewing their launches and their content and their promotional schedules and their strategies and digging into their mindset stuff. Like I love that helps me to just stay connected to the whole reason that I started my business in the first place that I really went into coaching moms the first, which is. I just love helping moms build their businesses and make crap loads of money. Welcome to the Raising Your Business Podcast. I'm your host, Yael Ben Dahan, founder of CEO Mom Academy, mom of six and lifelong reading addict. This podcast is here to empower moms to run their businesses and lives like the powerhouse CEO they are. I want you to believe that you can have the business success you desire. And be present with your family and to give you my best tips and strategies for how to make that happen. I'll be sharing the honest reality of balancing business and motherhood, biz models that work for you, marketing simplicity and the mindset of a CEO mom. Now let's dive in. Hello. Hello. Welcome back to the podcast. And today I'm talking about something that. I've been asked a lot about, honestly, since I had the baby and that is how the heck am I getting work done? And I actually have a little A little like survey. After people buy my products on some of my, on some of my offers. And and it asks, what's your biggest challenge when it comes to your your, growing your business as a mom? Okay. And. The number one answer that people give me is time. And the second most common answer is focus. So time like obviously you finding time to work, getting work done, and also just knowing what to focus on. Okay. And. I totally hear that. And so that's why I wanted to share my two to three hour a day work schedule. It says two hour a day because it's shorter, but it's, I'd say two to two to three, depending on again, depending on the day, depending if I have a call a day or not, but I would say. As far as work goes. I work about two hours a day on average. I'm not counting calls with my clients. So I wanted to share behind the scenes of what we're focusing on these days and, just how I'm getting stuff done. And I speak about this in episode, I believe 52. Which is my best productivity hacks for CEO moms, with babies at home. And, I also cover my four main focuses for growing my business. In episode 41. So four things to do every day in my business to grow consistently. So definitely go back and listen to those episodes if you haven't already, because they're really good. And they give a lot of great a lot of great strategy and productivity, hacks tips, things like that. But. I just want him to share it, like the basic behind the scenes of my business right now, what I'm focusing on and how I'm getting it done with my baby, who is thank God. He is he is napping a little better. Than he used to cause he's got a little older. So it was his. Napping has been has consolidated a little bit. But he's not, it's not always, it's not always the case and sometimes he still will take 30 minute naps and sometimes I'll just extend an app by just sitting on the couch and nursing him for an extra 45 minutes. Or whatever. People haven't asked me, how are we getting the work done? And the answer is I'm not really getting as much done as I would like, but I do make sure that the time that I do work is impactful. And I want to share the behind the scenes of my two to three hour or. A day. Sorry. Two to three hour. The day work schedule. So you can get some inspiration for how to fit things in to the different nooks and crannies of your life. So before we dive in, I just wanted to share with you. I would currently accepting three people into my CEO, mom mastermind. This is the highest encloses way to work with me. Besides from my one-to-one, which have very limited spots, I have up to only 2, 1 20 lines at a time because.'cause I'm busy. And as you'll see, when I talk about my schedule there isn't a lot of time there. The mastermind is honestly the best place to hang out with me and get my eyes very closely. On your work on your offer suite on your messaging, on your content, on your emails, whatever it is. Between me and my copy, coach Jen, and the mastermind. We are literally just partnering with you in your business. To help you grow it in the way that is most aligned to you as a mom and anyone who joins this month, any of the three people who joined this month, We'll get a bonus, a one-to-one intensive with me as an onboarding. An onboarding intensive to the mastermind. Where we will literally sit and map out your 2025 plan together, your offer, suite, your messaging. We have content ideas. All the kind of stuff that we will dive into. My clients have literally walked away from these intensives with Google docs, full of notes, full of ideas. And just ready to hit the ground running. Whatever they choose to. So the three people who join this month, we'll get this one-to-one intensive, valued at$2,000 and I'm really excited for this. I'm excited for you, whoever you are. I just have a feeling. There are just people out there who've been sitting and marinating on it and thinking about it and thinking about joining and you're just like, I don't know cause at the time. So if that is you. This is your chance. Okay, so let's talk schedules. If you know me, I do not hold things back. All right. I'm going to literally be telling you exactly what I do. So if you want to take notes, this would be the time. And if you are like, no, I just want to hear it. Just get an idea for it. Go for it. Just listen while you're doing something else while you're washing dishes. Or are you taking a walk wherever you choose to listen to podcasts? So I, when I say I work two hours a day, I would say I work between two to three hours a day on average working about four to five days a week, four to five days a week, not 45. Thursday tends to be a lighter day because Friday night, Friday, Evening and Saturday is our Shabbat is our Sabbath. And so I spent a lot of Thursday cooking. So from the afternoon, essentially, Let us say from the morning I'm already making my Hala bread and now I've actually started mapping out my week. So I'm even starting to prepare for Shabbat even earlier in the week, because I just have less time on Fridays because Shabbat begins at sunset. And sunset obviously is earlier in the winter. I do not work on Fridays at all pretty much. If I work, any work I do is just like listening to trainings, listening to podcasts, which is not really work for me. It's a hobby. But I don't do actual work on Fridays. So I would say. Between two to three hours a day for. Excuse me, four to five days a week. And and again, it really depends on the day. Depends on the day of the week. I used to do daily themes for different things. I'd have like more of a marketing focus day or content outlining focus day or whatever it is, but because they don't have a nanny and I don't have regular work hours, it's harder for me to do this. So I have some basic focus ideas, and I have certain things that I tend to batch. And I don't necessarily assign this to a day because it really depends how the day is going to go. It's very fluid. My schedule. Due to the young man who monopolizes my time, these days. So my current focuses are showing up for my clients. That means going into telegram and slack and seeing what questions people have. In my mastermind, I go into my momentum collective. I have a telegram coaching week every month. And so during that week, I will go and check in there. Otherwise it go into the CEO, my mastermind slack. And I'll see if anyone has posted anything as any questions. Showing up for my community. That means. Creating content, posting content. Instagram stories, whatever that is. Sales. So prepping checkouts and emails for black Friday, for example, or creating sales, Instagram stories or writing sales emails or following up with people. Those are sales. Growth. So these could be being part of collapsed to get, to to get more people onto my list or creating reels for growth content and things like that. Creation. And this is my last focus is basically recording things like content curriculum. Client audits that I'm doing so that, I guess that goes into showing up for my clients. But anything new that I'm creating. So currently I'm recording the content for my baby. Maybe prove your business program, which is a program on how to take a profitable maternity leave. And so that is my main big project. Besides from my regular growth sales nurture stuff. And I usually just alternate between days. So I will either do I'll do planning and prepping one day and then I'll do the posting and, uploading the next. If you want to hear more about the four primary focuses in my business, check out episode 41, which is a four things I do in business every day to grow consistently. I dive a lot deeper into those four things in there. So how's my WICO Sunday is basically my planning day. That's like really where I map things out. So what am I going to be my call to action this week? What themes me focusing on what topics are they focusing on? I also write down to the content that I planned to create that week. So any quick tips that I want to put into my CMC newsletter? Any content ideas? I have a note in my notes app that is full of ideas. I have just started transferring them into air tables. I can track which ones they post, which ones I haven't. Any content that I post has to be created the day before. So I've started to commit to less content, but better. For example, I have one podcast a week. It's going to be three to four posts per week. So that would be any sort of post that could be either promoting the podcast or pulling things out of the podcast or just original posts that are don't have anything to do with the podcast itself. Daily Instagram stories. One to two emails a week. So I at least have my CMC newsletter may see your mom confidential newsletter, plus at least one other sales or promotional email. And I'm trying for one Instagram live a week. We will see if that can happen. Okay. I have not done weekly lives in a while. I just don't really have, I haven't really had the bandwidth to be honest, but I really, I would love to start going back to doing them. I'm just trying to decide whether I should. Make them. Be the same as the podcast or different. I don't know. I like the podcast because I can record it like I'm doing right now at midnight when the house is quiet and the baby's sleeping and everything is just, it's just me alone in my office. Zen and recording a podcast. Albeit with a bit of a cold. So that's why my voice sounds a little bit. Nasally, so that's basically what I decide to do. So committing to not posting every single day when it comes to Actual content. Instagram stories. Yes, because that's Instagram stories, but not like actual like posts. And I just don't want to commit to too much and then not do it. And it also think that. I'd rather show up better. And post fewer times per week. For the first hour or so of whatever of the day. That I'm working, I'll be checking on clients, answering questions. Then I'll also go into Instagram stories. So I'm going to post what I'm going to do that day. I'll create any promotional stories, trying to think of creating. Cause that's like Instagram stories. And then content creation. It's going to be recording a podcast already got a piece of content or emails. So I try to make this as bare bones as possible. So if I can't fit it into a fancy template, I don't care. I just want to like maybe design the cover image and make it look nice in Canva. And then the rest of it will just be like, Screenshot for my notes app. Or I'll just use a real. I don't want to get really low tech I'll use B roll and trending audio and just slap the caption onto it and slap a hook on top of it. So really basic. I'm trying to make it as easy as possible to post. So I don't feel like. Oh, my gosh, this needs to be gorgeous. Needs to be fancy because design is not my forte. I did not have a designer on hand to create my ongoing content. I do have a designer for my website and my funnels and things like that, but not for my content. I'm trying to really minimize the heavy lifting of content creation. So for me, It's easier for me to write a piece of content and just write it, write a caption and figure out a good hook and stick it on a reel or create a carousel and just use my notes app as the words and not have to make it look all fancy and fit beautifully into a gorgeous carousel. Then. Plug it into a perfect. Canada template and making all the fonts lineup and making all those sizes look good and not trying to crowd the, I just, it's just not my thing I prefer to write. I really try to make the content creation as easy as possible for myself. So that was the first approximate hour of my work day. And the second hour is going to be that day's focus. So either podcast production. My CMC newsletter, curriculum creation or recording client audits or reviews. I'm also building some backend mini funnels. Did you drive people to my bigger offers? That's something else that I'm alternating through. So this stuff is not all happening overnight, but it is happening. Okay. I used to have, I used to have a few hours a day to work and I just don't have a few hours consecutively to work anymore. Occasionally I can, my sister will come over and. And we I've mentioned this to my Instagram stories. Our babies are the same age as, and then she'll come over and we'll just switch off babysitting for each others. Babies while the other one gets work done. It's been working out pretty great. But but again, sometimes I'll have more time. I don't necessarily count on it. Any admin that has to happen. So things like uploading recordings, scheduling reminder emails, project planning. The L either happened on Sundays or Thursdays, or for example, If I do a mastermind call and I'm still on my computer. Half an hour later when it's rendered in zoom, I'll upload it right away into Vimeo and whatever, and I'll leave it like that. When it comes to calls, I don't necessarily count these in my official getting shes done work hours. So when I say two to three hours a day, that's like me doing things. This is not. On being on client calls or being on. Calls for the masterminds that I'm in or the programs that I'm in, because that's the only thing I can just listen in on while I'm doing other things. So I don't, I do not count my mastermind calls, the ones that I'm part of. As part of these as part of these work hours, for me, that's more of like a social situation and it's more of just like pouring into myself. So I don't necessarily consider it work. Okay. So I don't really count that in my two to three hours a day. And the truth is the reason I'm able to do this and re reasonably able to work two or three hours a day. At most is because. My office suite is architected for this. Is architected around my life. Like I love that helps me to just stay like state connected. And that helps me stay connected to the whole reason that I started my business in the first place that I really went into coaching moms the first, which is. I just love helping moms build their businesses and make crap loads of money. That is what I enjoy. So I keep my masterminds in there if you're like, oh if you're so busy, why do even offer coaching? Why don't you just do courses? Because I enjoy it. And because the questions that my clients ask me, help me create content. They help me. Understand what people are struggling with so I can help more people, right? Like I love helping my clients. And I also love that helping my clients also helps me help more people because they can see where they're struggling, where they're getting stuck. And I can help more people like my clients in my content, in this podcast. In, as I create offers So there you have it. That's my two to three hour. Schedule right about an hour of client communication promotion. Marketing and things like that. And then about an hour and a half, maybe two hours of creation time. So that's the funnels, the. The curriculum, the actual, like creating things from scratch, writing things from scratch, new stuff. And I find that again, it's not going to be an hour. An hour straight hour in a row in another street hour in a row. I'll get half an hour of, Instagram stories here and then another half an hour of client communication there. And then maybe we'll go down for hopefully a longer nap. So I'll sit down and record a couple of of lessons for my curriculum. It's not something that is like exact, and that is really the whole, this is really the whole thing. This is the whole reason I do what I do. So, like I said, I dive into the four consistent things that I do for business growth. In episode 41. of this podcast. But I also give you the complete strategy along with sample calendars and more in my CEO, mom, business blueprint. So I'll drop the link in the description for both the podcast and the business blueprint. It is. They're both amazing. The blueprint literally gives you like everything you need to map out your customized ideal schedule as a CEO mom, without forgetting the four things that are really going to contribute to your business growth. Okay. But here's the truth. I scale, did you a hundred thousand dollars a year? With five kids at home and a baby. Okay. So this is, my daughter was a baby at the time when I had my biggest, that was my biggest year to date. And and she was a baby. She was home with me for most of that year. I have a husband who works full time. I have my family lives nearby, but not a lot of just, not a lot of like family support at this point. Because yes, if it's an emergency, then I can count on them, but everyone is so busy. Thank God. We all have. Large families. We're all very busy. With our children at the time, I didn't have a sister who had a new baby who was the same age as my baby, who would come over and we would switch off this was literally just me. And it was also during like kind of post pandemic. So we still were not hanging out a lot together. I scaled 200,000 a year with zero desire to hustle my way there and little to no childcare. Okay. So I want you to know that you don't need 40 plus hours a week. You don't need perfect routines, a nanny. You don't need your spouse to quit their job. You don't need your kids to be completely independent. My kids are pretty independent, but not completely independent. And they were much smaller than, okay. This was four years ago. They were smaller. What you need is a business model that is built for your mom life. Okay. Your mom life, and it's going to be different. A year ago, it's going to be different a year from now. And it's gonna be different. than your CEO, mom, friend, next door, because your kids are not your limitation. Okay. They are your motivation. Okay. My kids are my motivation for. My business for continuing to do what I do. And so inside the CEO of my mastermind, I'm showing you how to leverage 15, 20 hours a week for maximum impact and income. So I'm currently enrolling. Three people into my CEO, my mastermind. This is my highest touch container, where you get my eyes along with our premier copy coach directly on your offer. We will also design your suite of magnetic hooks and angles that will sell your offers effortlessly. And we'll architect your ideal schedule. We're a business. Success and your presence as a mom are not going to be competing priorities. I am. So tired. I'm so tired. You do not have to choose between being there for bedtime and growing your business. I refuse. I refuse. I refuse to have one more mother. If I can keep one mother from. Saying I'd love to have another baby, but we just can't afford it. Like August through my job. A success. I consider my work as success because I just think that. Good women should be having more good children. And money should not be a reason not to. And that is what I want for you. I want money to not become your reason, not to have the family that you want. Not to do the things that you want to do with your family. I created the mastermind experience as the most high touch experience with me that is so specifically created for those established mom entrepreneurs who are really ready to elevate their business and become the CEO of their business and their life.
