This is a really great time to focus on audience growth. So setting up ahead of time, collabs that you're part of and that you can pre-schedule the promotional posts and emails for is a really good idea. I did that during my maternity leave last summer. I was part of Gemma Bottom Carter's AI unlocked summit. I was part of a bunch of different summits, a bunch of different bundles, and they were very easy. If I looked at my promo calendar, I made sure, like none of them were really overlapping. I prescheduled emails, I prescheduled content to go out about them. And I was able to grow my audience and grow my list with very like low lift investment on my part Welcome to the Raising Your Business Podcast. I'm your host, Al Behan, founder of CEO Mom Academy, mom of Six and Lifelong Reading addict. This podcast is here to empower moms to run their businesses and lives like the powerhouse CEO. They are. I want you to believe that you can have the business success you desire. And be present with your family and to give you my best tips and strategies for how to make that happen. I'll be sharing the honest reality of balancing business and motherhood biz models that work for you. Marketing simplicity, and the mindset of A CEO, mom. Now let's dive in. Hello. Hello. Welcome back to the podcast, and let's talk about summer. So this episode is gonna be like a two-parter. We're gonna do part one. How to prep your business for summer when you're still trying to book yourself out, right? You're still working on. Getting fully booked or hitting, your first five, 5K, 10 k months. And then we're gonna do a second part. If you're already at the, like five, 10 K months, you already booked out. Maybe you already have some other streams of income or you wanna build on some other streams of income and and what to do then. So it's gonna be like you have to do two different, you gonna have two kind of different strategies in a way when you are, when you're doing this. So I really wanted to make sure to give enough air time to each one. So we have summer upcoming. It is currently may. I have, oh my, I have my birthday month coming up next week. We're gonna have to be doing some really exciting things. And then we have just pretty much two to three months of summer vacation and I call it vacation. It's vacation for the children, not necessarily vacation for the parents and. The truth is you want to be a present mom during the summer, right? Like I have my kids may or may not be in camp. Some of them will be in camp, some of them won't because my oldest son really wants to work and make a lot of money'cause he's in that frame of mine, which I'm, I fully endorse. My middle kids are not super into camp because they like being outdoors, but they don't like being outdoors all day. And that's what most of the camps here are. And then my daughter probably will go to camp because she is four. And then we have the baby home with me. So I'm probably gonna be having a few kids around at various points throughout the summer. I don't, I'm not gonna be completely alone. In fact, I'm never completely alone'cause I have the baby and and so I wanna be able to do fun things with them. I wanna be able to be present. We have a pool, a big intex pool we set up every summer. For the kids we wanna do maybe some camping. We wanna do just some activities with them. We have some home improvements that we're looking at doing. We're looking at getting our garden just looking beautiful. And we're doing some DIY things at home, so it's gonna be, it's gonna be a busy summer. And of course we have, my, my husband is going to be traveling to London for a long weekend with my second son because we have a bar mitzvah over there. And then. We might be doing a family trip with my in-laws and maybe with my own family as well. So there's a lot going on. Okay? And if you are still building towards CO isn't five 10 K months, okay? If you're still working on booking out your one-to-ones, whether you're a service provider or a coach and you're trying to stay visible without burning out, I truly feel that you cannot afford to just disappear until September. Okay? That I'll pick it back up later. Mindset is gonna be expensive. It's gonna be expensive. But the good news is you do not need a 40 hour a week plan. You don't need that during the year. You don't need that during the summer either. Okay? You just need a smart, simplified plan that works for your real summer life. So today I'm gonna be walking you through how to summer proof your business, your income, and your sanity, and that is what we are focused on for this two part series. Okay, so a quick heads up before we move on summer, like a Boss is open now. It is my 90 minute workshop that gives you a plug and play content and promotion plan that actually works for your summer life, as well as tips and tricks on how to schedule your summer with children at home. It is$25 this week instead of$47 instant access, zero fluff. And it is part of my big Mother's Day collection. There is somewhere like a boss is open for$25 and there are also two different options to work directly with me. At. Really bananas, affordable rates. There's an office hours option and then there is an intensive option. And if you're ready for longer term support, if you're like, yes, I'm actually looking to have a repeatable plan, a repeatable process to book myself out to get clients in the door, and you don't have that yet, then the Momentum Collective is open. If you join the collective during May, you'll get a bonus month free. So you can feel like it's fine if I don't have, I can't dedicate a hundred percent of my time towards this during the summer because you basically get a free month. You can just. Like just chill, relax, consume the content and really go all in on getting your support and your coaching a month later. Okay, more on this later. So let me tell you something that I do every summer, and I also do this when prepping for maternity leave or a big life transitions, I plan ahead with numbers, right? So know vague. Oh, I just hope this launch goes well, right? I know how much money I need. I know I need to know where it's coming from. I give myself buffer and I extend timelines, and I build a plan around reality, not some fantasy productivity. Imaginary. Oh yes. I'm gonna do 10 hours of work in two. Okay. I wanna help you do the same, because winging it through the summer is a guaranteed way to lose momentum and waste your energy. So I wanna help you build a summer proof plan that will work with your messy mom schedule and can still bring in money, or at least bring in money that you need to get through the summer and stay visible and stay top of mind to your ideal clients. The first part is knowing your numbers. Okay? So start here. Always start here. You wanna ask yourself, how much do I actually need to make each month this summer? So let's say you're like, I need to make minimum 5K. I need to make minimum 10 K, right? Then you look at how much is already recurring or booked. How much do you already have booked out for the summer? Alright? And then what is the shortfall, right? What's the difference between that number and the other number? This will give you clarity and then you can decide do I pre-sell? Do I stack extra income this month? Do I space out projects over the summer so I can do extended payment plans and add to my recurring income? It's like maternity leave planning, but like in a seasonal sort of way. So the second part is pre-selling or prepping now. So once you know what you need, here's how you're gonna wanna make it work. So you can reach out to current or past clients right now, and you can offer to renew at current rates or at a discounted rate if you wanna do an alumni rate. You can set up extended payment plans that carry you through July and August, right? So like instead of saying okay, normally I have a three month plan, turn it into a five month pay plan so that you can start the recurring income. Now you can book projects. Now that will start later, but the payment plan starts now. So for example I, when I have Intensivess I can only have so much time for 90 minute intensives, and I have time for like maybe one VIP day a month. And 90 minute intensives like maybe three or four at most, depending on the month, between two and four, depending on the month. So I cannot just book those out indefinitely. So I could say if you wanna book yours for July or August, you can start your payment plan now and have it all paid off by the time we start. Because I like to have, when you have an intensive, when you book an intensive with me, I like to have the payment all paid off before our intensive starts, but if you want to extend the payment plan and divide it into three payments or four. You can get started right now. So that is what I mean by book projects that now that will start later. We'll bring in income now and you can also stretch your client timelines if needed. So you can book fewer calls, add more asynchronous support, maybe add on a couple months with instead of, if you normally have three calls a month, you can add on a couple months with one call a month and you like take off from those other monthly calls and that way. You are still serving or you're doing it on your terms and summer does not need to be a dead zone where you don't make any money, you don't bring in any new clients or you don't serve your existing clients. Okay? Now the third part is building a repeatable client getting system. And this is crucial because if your current strategy is post or remember and I just hope somebody dms me that is not going to cut it. Okay? You need a visibility system that is simple, sustainable, and repeatable, and you need a sales system that is going to do the work for you. Okay, an example of this would be you have a weekly nurture email. You have three reels or posts every week, or maybe you run as to a freebie, you have a call to action, every piece of content. Maybe you do a regular follow up to the warm leads. Maybe you have a lead magnet or or a front end, training or video sales letter that has a clear path from new follower or new. Lead to Booked client. Okay. And I actually teach this inside of CEO Mom Academy, which you get inside of the Momentum Collective. And summer is actually the perfect time to finally set this up and stop starting from zero every month. And if you really are interested in building a, an automated, basically an automated lead generation funnel that is very low lift and really just. Primes and nurtures your ideal client to work with you and potentially book you without even having to get on a sales call in our CEO Mom Mastermind. We are doing that with Tara Counterman. We have access to her entire pod funnel framework. She comes in there every month and coaches my mastermind clients on building out their own pod funnels. And currently all of my mastermind clients are in the process of building out their podcast funnels that are going to be bringing in not only bringing in leads, but also nurturing them and basically doing the sales process for them so that they can get clients in the door without having to get on multiple calls, answer loads of questions. And things like that. And I have some clients who are like, I wanna get this set up before the summer so that this can be running. And, getting in front of new people during the summer. Some clients are like I wanna record this during the summer. This is a great time for me to be low key doing, recording one podcast a day and then focusing on promoting it throughout the summer because it is a 10 part podcast. So it does take time to record. And my baby is currently knocking on my office door. He's supposed to my, my, my husband's. Technically watching him, but he is not he Now he knows that I'm in here, so he is knocking on the door. It's so cute. So this is the perfect time to set that up. So if that's something that interests you, we are doing this inside of the CEO Mom Mastermind. And you also get my one-to-one, feedback on every single piece of your offer on your messaging so that you can really create the most optimized offer and the most optimized pod funnel between me and Tara to bring in your ideal people. So if either of those things feel good to you, reach out to me with either collective, say, DM e Collective, or D Me Mastermind, which everyone feels like it speaks to you, and we can chat about which one makes most sense for you. Okay you might hear some noise in the background because I had to move outta my office because now I'm with the baby. My husband is, had to go out. So this is the CEO Mom life, whatever. Okay, so now let's talk about redefining consistency. So consistency. Does not mean posting daily. And I always say this to my clients, right? Consistent does not mean constant. Okay? It means being present consistently, whatever that means for you. Okay? So I want you to pick a rhythm throughout the summer that you feel you can stick to. And this could also mean batching out content beforehand. Okay? Taking like a couple of days to batch out, like a bunch of B-roll and batching out some posts. And posting once or twice a week, if you normally post every single day, posting once or twice a week, having, it would be three reels or short form videos per week. Maybe one live video at a designated time that everyone knows is your time. One nurture email and one sales email per week. A daily 15 minute visibility sprint, right? Posting, engaging, following up, that is, and everyone's gonna have their own version of what consistent means for them. And it really depends also the kind of content you're putting out. So for me it would be like, okay, I'm gonna put out my podcast, I'll be repurposing my podcast more than than creating new posts, right? Because yeah, I have ideas or posts all the time, but I may not have the bandwidth to actually write out all those ideas. So I'm gonna be like, okay, great. So I have my podcast recorded ahead of time. I'm gonna just repurpose more of that content from the podcast, which I should be doing already anyway. I just get so many ideas. I'm like, no, I wanna talk about this. I wanna talk about that too. And and just thinking of different ways to bring people in into my world. Another option for being consistent is paid ads. Okay? Now I'm not saying that you should be running paid ads. Especially if you are, especially if you are still working on booking out, you don't, maybe don't have your messaging nailed, but if you do have a lead magnet set up or maybe a mini webinar or something that brings people in the door, the right kind of free offer that will bring people in the door that you can run$5 a day to.$10 a day, two to bring, to grow your email list. I highly recommend being, doing that, even if it's just, seeing which reels really pop off and running a dollar or two of engagement towards those reels and making sure to add a call to action to drop a keyword or something, and using a many chat bot like that. It is almost like hacking your consistency because you are gonna be showing up in front of your audience regularly without necessarily having to create new content regularly. Alright, and my next. Point is sell what is simple, right? So in summer, your audience is probably gonna want easy wins and low lift support. So you're gonna wanna meet them where they are. So offering things like foxer or telegram coaching or power hours or audits and strategy sessions, or templates or mini offers, or flexible timelines, or just getting stuff, getting projects knocked off their plate during the summer while they are taking time off. Is so sexy. It is so tempting. Okay. We love having stuff get done while we're just lying on the beach, or in my case, lying by the pool or lying on my couch in the air conditioning because I do not like the beach. I don't like sand, right? Thinking about, how can I create opt, op opt-ins options for my ideal clients that are maybe a more low lift version of what I normally do, or front end ways to bring them in the door and sell'em into your higher ticket offers. And talk about those things now. Okay? Don't wait until school's out. Start seeding and selling now so people can plan with you. And I actually have a post coming out like literally today on my feed. So look, check out my feed. It says, are you worried about the summer slowdown? And it gives you so many ideas. There's literally a masterclass in and of itself, right? It's a masterclass in and of itself for, what you can do, what you can sell during the summer, how to prep for the summer. So definitely go check it out and save it because you're gonna wanna take, just take notes seriously. So that is the thing about what to sell. And the last thing is. Because it just set up the bundle. I pre-created the summit train, the summit training, so it was ready to go. I didn't have to show up live or anything, and I was able to just have emails going out promoting. And I had new leads coming in throughout the entire summer. So this is a really good time to set up some sort of audience growth strategy. So again, if you do not have a lead magnet that converts or a lead magnet that's been proven to bring people in the door, I talk about that inside of CEO Mom Academy. So you might wanna check that out. My friend Monica has a really incredible program called Automated Audience, which teaches you how to create a lead magnet that converts and how to run ads to it. Exactly. I personally used her method was running five,$10 a day of ads to these lead magnet who's getting$1 leads, 50 cent leads a dollar 50. Really cheap leads for business to business. And I did have those people convert on the back end to sales. If this is something that speaks to you, if you're like, yes, I'm interested in learning ads, then reach out to me and I'll send you the link directly to her automated audience. I highly recommend it. And if you're like, I don't even know what I could turn into lead magnets, I don't even know what I could turn into low ticket products, because I definitely recommend having a funnel that you're leading to not just having a plain lead magnet, but having a trip wire offer, an order bump, even an upsell. I am having something come later this summer. It's going to be an incredible opportunity and I'm giving you a little heads up here. It's gonna be, I'm gonna be talking about it during my birthday month next month in June. A very special opportunity to build out, like literally leverage your current content offers, templates, things that you're already doing, and turn them into money, into funnels, into pa relatively passive income. Make sure to keep an eye out for that because I'm going to give you an opportunity to do that. Even if you're only making three KA month, five KA month, you'll still be able to do this. Okay? So just let's sum it up while we're already here. Number one is knowing your numbers. You can stop guessing and start planning. You might wanna pre-sell or stretch out delivery now so you can have payment plans going out. Some are, does not have to be slow for you, okay? You you're gonna win. Want to build a repeatable client getting system. Okay, so no reinventing the wheel and trying all this different stuff. So whether you have a pod funnel and you wanted to join us in the Mastermind building out your pod funnel, or you have a really good, maybe a mini webinar or. A front end audit or something like that is proven to bring in clients. Don't reinvent the wheel. Focus on selling that or getting people into that container. I want you to redefine consistency, right? It's about finding your rhythm, not about perfection, not about showing up every single day. Sell simple, timely offers that feel like a no brainer right now for your ideal clients. And make sure to check out my posts about how to position your offers to sell during the summer and use this time. To grow your audience, whether it's through collabs, whether it's through ads, whether it's through just posting your lead magnet every single week, make sure to take this time to grow your audience is a really great time. I currently have a summit that's gonna be coming out in the in July because it's a great time for people to tune in to summits, listen in. It's gonna be an audio summits, so very easy to tune into. And and I know that I want people to be able to. Number one, come into my world and get fully served while not really having to do much, really just sitting around listening to podcasts, getting value, and then potentially moving into my other offers. So this is a really great opportunity for you to be featured in other places as well. So I hope this helps you understand that you do not need to have a full calendar and fill all your time. You can batch, you can have one day a week or one day a month where you batch out content for the month or the week. You can use very simple b-roll to create reels. You can have ads running, so you, all you need to do is just check in on your ads a couple times a week and see how they're doing. There's so many options for you. It's really just a matter of it's really just a matter of. Focusing on what your goals are for the summer, right? Again, knowing your numbers and focusing on, what makes sense for people, for my people during the summer, what are they gonna be interested in buying, doing, having access to? And how can I leverage that? How can I serve them in that way? If you wanna know how to build out your summer for maps revenue and presents, and just generally enjoying your summer with your kids, whether they're home with you or not. Here are three ways I can help you. I have my mom's my Mother's Day, CEO Mom's Collection that is on offer just this week until this upcoming Monday, which is I think the 19th. So you can grab summer like a boss. It's just$25. And instant access includes a full content and promo calendar that's designed for your summer energy. Jump into my CEO Mom office hours. There are only 10 spots available for this. It's a week of telegram coaching to get clear on your next steps and take serious action for the summer. Or there are three spots to get an intensive with me where you can literally map out your summer plan, map out a funnel. Literally, I've built up funnels with my clients that convert at 50%. Sales funnels, not opt-in funnels, sales funnels that convert at 50% the whole way through. Okay? This seriously works, and if any of this stuff sounds interesting to you and you're really interested in. Getting my coaching and my eyes on your stuff, you can join the Momentum Collective. This is my mini mastermind where you get access to my entire product suite, including CEO Mom Academy, where you learn how to build a repeatable client getting system. And if you join us in May, you'll get an extra bonus month so you can ease in without guilt or pressure and not feel like you're wasting time because you've got some extra time. Okay, so the links are gonna be in the show notes, and if this episode hit home. Screenshot it. Tag me at the han and share it with other mama who needs a summer plan.
